Hi I'm Danielle

I love the outdoors. I love my family. I find joy in singing and serving. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Vancouver Washington but moved around a lot growing up. Gymnastics and diving were my main sports in those days, but I have since picked up running and hiking! I love spending time outdoors, but even more than that, I LOVE spending time with my family. When we get together we play lots of games, do outdoor activities, or sing songs around the piano. I have two older sisters and a younger brother so we can usually pull off SATB pieces:) We live in Murray Utah now and I've worked at Chick-fil-A for the past three and a half years, saving up money for college and my mission. I received my mission call one month ago and I'm going to serve in the Marshall Islands/Kiribati Mission!!! I am so excited to serve the people and learn the Kiribati language! I will miss my family, but I'm sure one and a half years will go by quickly when I'm doing the Lord's work!

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon, because I have felt the spirit testify that it's teachings are true. As I have grown up in this gospel, I have spent every day studying its principles and ordinances. They are simple. They are eternal. They are from God. I have found hope, joy, and purpose as I have lived what I know to be true! God lives. He loves me personally. I can be forgiven. I can be with my family FOREVER. I have a Prophet who leads the church and receives direct revelation from God. I can make sacred covenants with God to draw nearer to Him. I can improve and be better! So, I'm a Mormon. I know this is Christ's church and I know it is true. Because of this church, I live every single day with happiness and hope for my future!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to do as Christ would. I give generously. I don't hold a grudge. I look for opportunities to serve and to invite others to Christ. I attend my church meetings and go to the temple weekly. I love my family and my neighbors. I read the scriptures daily and pray to God. God is always there to here my cries and fill me with his love. Some days it is hard to have Godly love for those who frustrate you. Some days you don't feel like praying or reading scripture. It takes faith, humility, and time. But slowly, Heavenly Father takes your sacrifice and turns it into something beautiful. I am still in this process, as are we all:)
