Hi I'm Kelly

I was born in California and raised in Idaho. I’m going to school to be a nurse. I’m a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a sophomore in college, studying nursing and international studies. I've never been outside of North America, but I love learning about other cultures. I enjoy baking and cooking. I'm an avid reader and a music and cinema enthusiast. I'm currently working as a home care aide, which involves helping others take care of themselves and their homes. I'm a daughter, sister, granddaughter and friend.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I've always been surrounded by the gospel. I've always had a love for the scriptures and the doctrine of this gospel. There have been times in my life when I've been less committed than I should be, but I always find my way back because His gospel and His church bring me the greatest joy I've ever experienced. There is no other place to find peace and happiness like the gospel of Jesus Christ brings! His love and Atonement bring hope and light to my life, and that's why I choose to be a member of His Church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by finding ways to serve and teach. I frequently spend time with elderly people who need someone to talk to and spend time with. I assist in teaching the children in our ward, specifically the 6 year-olds, the gospel of Jesus Christ so they can grow up and gain strong testimonies of His gospel. I try and find ways to be a good example of a disciple of Jesus Christ in all I do, as well as find opportunities to share the glorious message of the Restoration and Plan of Salvation with others!
