Hi I'm Sarah

I grew up in Texas. I'm a student at BYU. I'm called to serve as a missionary in the Michigan Lansing Mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving a full-time mission in Michigan. Prior to this, I had just barely completed my first semester of college at Brigham Young University. I grew up in a family of 5 kids and lived in Texas for 15 years of my life. What I love most is being outdoors and being with people. I love my family and friends more than anything. I love playing tennis, running, hiking, reading, painting, and singing.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into a family that has been Mormon for generations. My parents were diligent in teaching me gospel principles and encouraged me to live by the church's standards, however, I had the ultimate decision to believe the teachings of the church and whether or not to behave righteously. By living my faith, I have received numerous blessings, gained a testimony, and found true happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing small and simple things everyday. I pray to my Heavenly Father, read the scriptures, and strive to help and uplift anyone with whom I come in contact. In 2017 I lead a committee in organizing a weekend long conference for 250 teenage youth in my area. I am now leaving my dear family behind and putting my own educational pursuits on hold for 18 months while I serve a mission in Michigan. I want to share the source of my true happiness with anyone and everyone who will listen!
