Hi I'm Emily Broadbear

I grew up in good old Price Utah, I love to hike and eat ice cream, and I'm proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I love life! I love to hike, eat yummy food, spend time with family and friends, and play my ukulele. I am a college student preparing to serve a mission in the Romanian/Moldova. I am so excited to serve the people of Romania/Moldova and learn and grow with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon, because I know that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Jesus Christs church on the earth today. I have read the Book of Mormon and it contains truths that are for our day! It is the word of God! More peace comes through reading it than any other book. I know Joseph Smith was a prophet called by God to bring the fullness of his gospel once more to the earth. I love my Savior Jesus Christ. I am so thankful to know I have a Father in Heaven who loves me, and knows me. Church is more than just a lifestyle for me, it is the most important part of me, and I know that being a part of Christ's true Gospel is the only thing that will bring me lasting happiness.

How I live my faith

I am a ward missionary in my Young Single Adult ward and really enjoy making new friends in the ward and sharing what brings me so much happiness with others. I try my best to be a friend to all.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Emily Broadbear
Yes! We believe the Bible to be the word of God written by men who were inspired by him. By that same token, we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God translated by the Prophet Joseph Smith in these latter days for the happiness and help of God's children on the earth today.
